Hot Air Ballooning
	A ride in a hot air ballon is unique. It offers the opportunity to see our land from the birds perspective, only driven by the wind. To discover new sights, and to make new friends when landing in an unexpected spot. There is no greater opportunity to see the wine regions, the vineyards and wine villages than from the height of a hot air balloon. Soak in the lie of the vineyards, feel the terroir and enjoy the early start to a new day or see the countryside in the long shadows of late afternoon. Hot Air Balloons are very depending on weather conditions. Most of the time, the balloon will start early in the morning or late afternoon, to make use of the than existing airstreams. The duration of a balloon ride is ca. 1,5 hours, covering on average ca. 30 - 40 km in straight distance, pending on wind strenght. When built up, landing, and the clearing of the gear (where passengers traditionally take part in), and naturally the celebrating of a first -off with sparkling wine is taken into consideration, 3 - 4 hours will have passed. The balloons we use will take on average 4 passengers, making it very comfortable for everybody. Safety for passengers is first priority. All our partners offering Hot Air Balloon rides are constantly supervised by the relevant authorities, and their knowledge, equipment and personal health is subject to regular inspection. In case that a balloon ride has to be cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, we will do our best to arrange a new date on short notice or refund the cost.
